They do look nice. I'd love to hit some of those babies!

A mate of mine back home had a wooden putter and it really worked for him.

Love this site - would really like to get a couple made up just not sure I'm good enough to hit them anymore.
A few mates and myself are starting to play with old woods and pre 80's irons once every few months at a different track to get back to basics and have a laugh. It is amazingly hard to hit the old gear consistently now, but a bloody good laugh seeing cold tops and worse a few times a round rather than a shitty swing rewarded by 100 mtrs of roll.

Gaz
I have had a look at them before, I wouldn't mind a set of the hickory shafted clubs, for a different experience.

It would be a blast I reckon. Really love the wooden mallet putters too

I hit my old mans persimmons every now and then and they sweet, the sound of one straight outta the screws is better than any metal clunk

Louisville used to have a range of 'striped' putters, but they now only have one style, which is in the 'Sale/Closeout' category (EW-FM1).

Might have to put the Fontana on 'double secret probation'.

Dean Wormer! Is that you? Put Neidermeyer on it. He's a sneaky little shit just like you.

If any of you 'traditionalists' are interested, I will be advertising for sale soon, a Cleveland Classic 9 degree persimmon driver. It has a brand new DG S300 shaft and a new Lampkin cord grip. It is in superb condition (no marks) and really is a thing of beauty I had intended to put "up on the pool room wall" but those plans have been Kyboshed by the little woman.

Before you commit to a new driver from overseas, have a look at this thing as I only plan to sell it for $140 (less than my costs!) plus postage from briso. I will put photo's up on the Pro Shop site when I get home.

You could play with it or just keep it as a artifact of an earlier time.

Regards,

Pete
