Just come back from a few days down at Kangaroo Valley Golf Club

Got to say I was very very impressed. Very challenging course and in great condition.

Anybody else played this little gem?

One of my all time favourite tracks played about 6 times now
I imagine with the recent rains the water hazards will be topped right up and would look very intimidating
has some absolutely fantastic holes
love the clubhouse , views and general feel about the place
if a bit closer to home would join tomorrow
only about 350-400 P.A. I think
got to be on evryones bucket list

Yeah I have played there a few times...

Certainly something different, very hilly etc, not really one of my favourites of all time!

When you say hilly, how does it compare to Mac grange in hilliness?

Ive walked Mac Grange and that nearly killed me
only once
Kangaroo valley would be walkable but there are a few steep bits
I have always played in carts at KV but I think I could walk it without too much drama
Probably first time out take a cart and then you can make your own mind up

Yep I took him up on the offer. Was alot better than I was expecting.

Grunt, book a cart is one of the hilliest tracks you will play.

Can't wait to get back there.

Sent an email over the weekend and the reply today was they only have a comp on Saturdays.

Still interested in a hit though.

Next time I am home in the Southern Highlands I might have to venture down the hill to KV. I didn't know there was a course there but it's not like I looked either.
