If anyone is interested I have a Penley 3 wood shaft that came stock in my ss-03. I am liking my YS9.1 so much that there is no point in me keeping this. This shaft is a very nice shaft for a 3 wood that has a great feeling tip but was just too soft for me :( otherwise it would still be in the club!!

I am not sure of what price I am looking to get for it? Make me a serious offer and I will consider it. I could also be interested in a trade for something so let me know what you have??

I also have a Dynamic Gold Wedge flex shaft and an R300 wedge shaft that I will sell for cheap if anyone is interested or include in the deal/trade with the penley.

Let me know

Blakey - I just weighed the shaft on my wifes digital cooking scales ;)
It has a Tour Velvet Grip at the moment which I can leave on it if you want? It is 119grams with grip and the grip on it's own is 55grams. Therefore I approximate the shaft at 60grams + - 5 grams.

I actually think it is this shaft but as it is made for Sonartec it is marked differently

The Stealth 60 is engineered for the better player. This lightweight shaft and stiffer tip will help maximize distance and accuracy. The control is optimum with a torque of 2.7.
Item PStealth60 $75 Order
type flex kick Point shaft weight torque length tip butt swing speed average Options
wood S high 65 2.9 47" .335 .600 90-105
wood X high 66 2.7 47" .335 .600 95-110
wood XX high 66 2.7 47" .335 .600 110> .

As for it's performance, I found the shaft very smooth through impact and very easy to get the ball in the air. As I stated I would not have swapped it only that I needed an X flex to match my other clubs and also my Swing speed.
I can email you some pics if you want?
The tip is in very good condition and the shaft itself is basically perfect. I am sure you know I have too much to lose on here to BS anyway :)

I am going to try and get along to the demo/launchy night so a deal then would be convenient for all ;)

If you dont make it to the driving range day i will be goingto Grantham around 5th june and will be looking for a game of golf somewhere close by, know anywhere? :-) I will confirm that date later....

Thanks Jaster - but deal with Blakey first. I was only ever going to be interested if it was still in your keeping come the long weekend and/or the Maroons get up tonight and all my bets come to fruition ;)

Hate to crash this party, but i'm sure the stock shaft in the sonatec is a graphite light like what nudgee put in his RM and R7.

Its around from memory 72 grams and 3.9* torque.

I know this cause I had a long chat oneday with the agent of the sonatec and penley gear.

Terry.

great feeling tip but was just too soft for me otherwise it would still be in the club!!

what is your RSSR?

when i checked with roscoe, he said the specs were perfect for me, but they were the wrong ones .... i will have to check with him again. as this has a different kick point and torque, the latter of which seems to be on the high side, but its probably still ok for me.

( i know what the specs mean , i just dont know what suits me, thats what i pay him for)

If you mean what is my Swing Speed? I haven't really had it checked officially but the House of Golf Virginia fitted me and I was 98mph with my 5iron. At GCI they also tested me to around this with my 5 iron :)
