Hey guys,

Got the 09 burner 9.5* ( prob 10* +) with a stiff v2 at 77g and 2.2 torque and very happy with results so far and it really launches the ball high.

I want to get a v2 for my Mt460 now and wanting some advice on shaft weight and torque. i really like the feel of the low torque V2s as i have them in both the burner driver and 3 wood.

Do i stick with the heavier weight/ low torque shafts and get more consistancy or do i get the lighter weight v2/ higher torque and go for distance.

Hey guys,

looking at getting a 10.5* TMTBTP and wanting to put a V2 shaft in it.
I need to bring the ball flight down abit, what shaft weight will help with this?

Why buy a 10.5deg if you want to bring the ballflight down? Aren't they more like 11.5deg measured loft anyway?

That sounds to logical and the 10.5 is at a better price. i may also hit it straighter with more loft, just like tiger did:smt079

Sorry, I didn't realise it was about what you wanted to hear, as opposed to what would actually work ;)

Get Exactly the same shaft. The difference will be negligible. The heads are the same sort of profile.

Shaft boys, just got an x flex in the V2 at 75 grams to put in the MT460.

How can i make it play slightly softer?
