Any serious answers other than ping?

Any major brand that is assembled where it is made would maintain some value. Pings, Mizuno USA (heads seem to differ slightly to those sold here), Jap. brands etc. Ping would be my choice of the known brands in Oz.

Would this include drivers as well as irons Raz?

Drivers & fairway clubs seem to differ to irons in this respect, not sure why. Golfers have a perception that the driver is a club of unlimited length off the tee. They know how far they hit their irons and plan accordingly, but when it comes to the driver & 3-metal the sky is the limit. Most drivers of the same loft and shaft flex will send the ball the same distance, which I demonstrated on the 18th at Shep. So it has to be with marketing hype and gullible buyers. Most Ping followers seem to be faithful to Ping right through the set, I've found.

Define best resale ?

If you pay the right price on TM it does hold value. If you buy retail on anything then you lose at least 40% by taking the plastic off.

Topflite never lose value... tossers :p

Agree with Razz. You always see ping gear with the highest $$$ second hand.

Mizuno. Bought my mp30s in '06 for $210. Sold them a couple of months ago for $260.

Love your work.

I can't believe he dropped the price $5 myself.

If I wanted one, I think I'd drop the extra $5 and get something custom made.

Muira irons including the TM Muira forgings all seem to hold pretty good value. Also really good driver shafts seem to hold value okay.

I don't think any driver hold value once they are no longer current model.

Ping irons, not so much drivers.
Although those that have had Ping irons dont get rid of them too quickly!
