I must be getting old, but given these are the same heads TP and non TP, what is the thinking behind a Tour Issue R9. I can only think they are hotmelted or closer to spec in loft maybe ???

Thoughts from the kool aiders ???

Thats the first thing I change is the shaft..

Same here. The stock shaft (TP Motore) was average at best. Much better now with an Aura in it. 8)

How did you find the fubuki in it?? I had the 63 in it then put the Diamana Whiteboard 83 and its such a responsive club.

No idea about what makes it so special as a tour issue...T serial with the + stamp on the hosel means its conforming - obviously for when I get past chocker/chopper and progress onto the FBB Tour.

My Kai'Li is funny enough a real one too. I don't think TM have got to putting their poxy graphics on them yet.

Tp is .355 tip and that is it, so you get a .355 insert and shaft and you go from normal to TP. Tour heads should be exact specs and quality and they do have the sweet spot marked on them. I can see a faint circular trace on the face of mine. I was told different thickness in walls but I'd guess hotmelt would be it and QC on head weight as mine is weighted 6/12/6.
