Mate of mine has just recieved a new "Titleist Scotty Cameron" putter (ebay). Only, after comparing it to 2 new genuine Scotty's he already has they seem too different. The packaging was wrong, the headcover seems wrong the grip seems the wrong colour the serial nos seems a different size ?????
Stay tuned....
I just wanted you Ho's to use caution....perhaps use some protection.

Buying a new Cameron off ebay on the cheap was wrong.

Put some photos up. Then we can tell ya if it's a blatant fake or not.

Log onto TheCameronCollector and compare it to the photos in the numerous threads on fake Scotties. I believe there are some telltale signs - shaftband upside-down, dodgy stitching and lettering on the headcover, questionable engraving and paintfill... etc

I thought this was the norm for a SC putter

There has been fakes of these for months if not longer. Check www.dhgate.com and I think you can buy 10 for $500.

Some of their stuff seem genuine?

Yep, get stuck in :)
I would expect they are using "near market" prices to give the feel of legitimacy. It would have to have a real "birds of a feather" type feel to it :)
PS, it's easy to post up legit pics too ;)
