after one round?

I played well with irons - lowish trajectory irons. Forgiving but not like an x22 sort of forgiveness. Sole design and grind makes them cut through rough a lot better than any other iron i played. why am i selling - coz i really want a set of adams blades.

p rs, i wont charge you any money for shipping!

How much would it cost me to reshaft and put decent grips on these?

They are great looking irons!

I just looked it up on Callaway website. Very yummy looking irons. =P~

What's the hosel size, Jamie? .370 parallel or .355 taper?

Should go very well with superlites. 8)

I have these irons as my backups - I am currently using the Prototype blades.

The X-Forged 09 have less offset and a slightly thicker topline. They are a little bit more forgiving than the Prototypes, but not by much.

The irons are 0.370 parrallel.

They are great irons!

Are you sure there .370??

I have reshafted 3 sets (07, & 09) with taper tip shafts... maybe I'm not doing it right

according to the guys at WRX, they are .355 taper.

How nice, Braddles and Tomson posting in the same thread.

I was told by Callaway that they were 0.370. That is the main reason I bought the Prototypes, as I wanted to play KBS Tour.

The 07 model is 0.355 taper.

Golfworks website tells me as per the oem guide that its taper for both and also I couldn't get a .370 to fit into the 07 & 09 model.

And at a guess I would say that the Proto Blades would also be taper tip as well.

Guys let me settle this debate - the Callaway X Forged irons are 0.370 parallel tip and they are ENDO forged which is IMO better than Miura forged.

For anyone who is genuinely interested I can get these irons shafted with Project X 6.0 Shafts (satin harder to get) for some extra $$$$

I must have reshafted fakes then. Oh well. Must email this to golfworks and let them know.
