Anyone know if there's an outlet in Sydney that does trade-ins?

Ie, you take your old club in (say, an ex-demo Titleist 907D1) and they give you, say, $100 off a newie, then selling said driver at a profit?

Is this a Done Thing?

Sure is. Just about everywhere would do it.

Powergolf at Alexandria have a massive used club section!
One of my mates , who is a pro works there.
Hav'nt been in lately, but usually a good variety of used gear.

Cheers lads - tried Powergolf but they don't stock stock Titleist, for some reason.

I'll hunt about.

No they gave Titleist the flick sometime ago.
I've seen som used Titty gear in there though.
Are you after a d1, or do you want to trade it?
I still think they would trade.

Al's Golf Centre do it as well, but don't expect an offer anywhere close to resale value.

It's very much like a car trade-in. They offer about half what they will try to sell it for. You essentially do it to save yourself the trouble of trying to sell it yourself.
