Just got the e-mail from GCO for their EOFYS but didn't see anything spectacular... though you might get a decent deal on something visiting in person.

Anyone see anything they like?

I just picked up some new yellow and orange XP3 balls for the practice bag, delivered $46 for 4 doz. Two colours means I can hit two clubs and identify which are hit by which club ie. work out my yardage range for each club.

Except you probably won't be playing the XP3 balls in your comp rounds so it's really a moot point. :)

This seems like a good price.

Very nice, and if you rang them you'd get them cheaper too ;)

True... but you could still make a comparison between the clubs... so it's still a reasonably good idea

You are probably right Mike but for my level of golf (16 hcp) I think it won't matter a great deal. I use softer balls in comp anyhow ie. Optima TS, Precept Laddie etc.

They have some Adidas Tour 360 shoes for $77 but they are the ones with fixed spikes! The guy said they last long enough to just buy a new pair when they have worn down! Sales pitch or true?
