After hitting the L5v today i have decided i dont really like the stock shaft. My question is it has that adjustment thing on the shaft. Can this stock shaft be changed over??? I have a V2 here which i like the feel of and would like to put that in there. Is this possible. Thanks in advance.

Virge, I may need a job done for me too if they replace the L4v with a L5v, stock reg is horrible.

Ask them for a stiff then. Even if that doesn't work, you're no worse off. You already know the reg is useless.

Will only get what they (Cobra) give me. I have no choice in it unless Drummond do the swap for me.

Well that sucks just a bit. Surely if Drummond have a stiff in stock they'd do a swap. It's not like the retail is any different, they can just throw your reg on the shelf in place of the stiff.

All stock shafts are the cheapest they can buy at the time... that is why they are called OEM shafts.

The $40 HTD shafts are MILES mroe stable than the crap you get in the "Made for xxxx" range.

And yes any good clubfitter can change the Cobra.

They cannot do this - it voids the warranty on the club.

I don't mean swap the shafts virge, I mean if cobra send Drummond a reg L5V and they have a stiff club on the shelf, they could just give him the stiff instead.

We shall see what happens this week. Drummond agree that the shaft is not stiff enough for me with the L5V but that was all they were allowed to give me as part of their deal with Titleist/Cobra. It is only a loan club at the moment, they could have given me nothing.

I have swapped replaced drivers before, even payed the difference to upgrade to a totally different club. But it wasn't at drummund, but was at 2 different shops.
