Hi all. This place looks nice!
I'm Mitch, i live in Brisbane. I've played golf (poorly) for as long as i can remember (about 20 years). Grew up playing at Ipswich Golf Club with dad, as my grandmother lived across the road, meaning we had a great place to store my clubs. I recently (thanks to Chairman Rudd) got a new set of sticks, a custom fitted set of wilsons, and have reignited my passion for the game. having the right length clubs has made so much difference! (my old set were about 2 inches too short, leading to much inconsistency in hitting). I'm still getting used to hitting the longer sticks, but when i get it right, they are great. My handicap is still outrageously high though, but i'm working on it.
Been playing at Logan golf club a lot lately, as it's fairly cheap (for a broke bike messenger like me) and nice and close. Hopefully will become a member there soon and start playing some more midweek golf to try and get the handicap a little more respectable.
Looking forward to loitering around your forum everyone, hope your putts all find the hole!
