Golf World (and others) have them for $89 new but I can't find one in the bounce and loft to replace my old favourite wedge. If you see one in Brissy, or can get one to me for around the same price, let me know. I'd be open to second-handers as well of course.

No hurry as I have the 54° in the WG-504 which is also a great club, but the spin I get off my 50° and 58° WG-706s is just crazy good. (Yes Jack, a 20 'capper can spin wedge shots, especially when you come in as steep as I do.)

No offense to the Golf World employees (;)) but when I was chasing a 50 degree, they told me there were no more in any stores, only to find a bunch at Underwood a week later.

I had already bought one from HOG so at that point it was too late, and GW had lost themselves a sale.

So let's say my faith in ozgolf sniffing out the right wedge is a little better than that of Golf World at this stage.

Ahh shoot, maybe it was the 56° I was thinking about. No wonder I can't find one!

12° is too much bounce for me. Maybe a 56° bent to 54-10 would be satisfactory. :? Or maybe I just stick to what I know and love.

you could bend a 52/8 to 54/10 or the 56/8 to 54/6

Yeah, not trying to say they are (although there are one or two wankers ;)). In fact, I doubt the guy was lying to me, why would he. He honestly thought that was all that was available.

But the ones at Underwood were there for some time. No big deal.
