Hi all, short time reader, first time poster... Found this forum tonight after looking at clubfitting stuff on the net. I'm a member over at iseekgolf as well, but looking around, I'm not the only one!

Heading to Port Douglas in October for the father-in-law's birthday and looking for some local courses to play while we're there. We're both very much the hacker grade, I don't have a handicap (besides my swing [usually hit about 100ish]) and I'm not sure of his, so looking for something enjoyable for us both.

Looking forward to being a part of the community here, if you'll have me... :smt087

Hi Rager and welcome. I played Paradise Palms when up Cairns way recently, and it's a very nice course. There's a decent contingent of Nth Qld OZgolfers up there too.

What's going on at ISG these days that has you looking around?

At a guess, Cliff Manley telling everyone how far he hits his driver and how great he is.

Oh, and welcome The Rage.

First post involving WA and FNQ ?
As long as they don't cross-breed, we are safe.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the magical mystery tour.

Oh, so it's safe to venture back to the golf stores on the Gold Coast without fear of bumping into the ***wit?

I'm not sure, but he isn't posting there anymore, which is a pity I needed some tips on how to hit my 64* wedge exactly 70 metres with the perfect amount of backspin.

But we digress :)

Was Cliff the 48yo 15 marker that was going to work on his game and compete on the Seniors PGA Tour, when he turned fifty ?

I thought it was only teenagers that dreamt like that.
