japanese r9 model? the r9 max?

Im really a fan of taylormade clubs, they make great clubs! especially drivers... whats the difference with the r9 MAX http://budurl.com/r9maX , and the original r9? I want is distance and having a higher 460cc than the original 420cc give me additional distance?
