I'm putting a combo set together, and all the avenues for buying only a few irons are just too expensive, so I'm after a set of MP-32s, preferably heads only, but realise many would prefer to sell with shafts.

Will also consider 67s.

What's UK ebay like, scottt? Any good?

Nah, overpriced, and shipping here, even from north UK to south, is rubbish. Iron sets tend to go for a high price.

What would you pay for a set of Callaway FT irons 3-SW ?

$3.20. MP-60/Cally FT Combo set doesn't put a lump in my pants, sadly...

Don't you have MP60's already. There is 3/5ths of F#$%-All difference in any of the recent Mizuno irons. Why don't you spend your money elsewhere??

Stop telling him this... you have to wait till you don't have them anymore to really understand how good the MP-60's were.

You watch... give him 3 months with whatever he chooses... and he will back me up.

The 60's are the pick from Mizuno... the 52's are the pick of the current bunch. And the 52's are just rebadged AP1's

I don't like it when you say things like that, Virge, because I know you're probably right and I am going to be filled with regret.

Bastard!

You have the "ho fever" Scottt. Sounds like a 6 month stint in a sanitarium is in order.

Sh!t. They already sold on eBay. I just checked. I'm not sure how I feel about that...

Sorry mate - type AP-2.

Don't mind any of the Mizuno stuff. even the shovels... the latest trend seems to stop moving the COG low and back to rather HIGH and back with the help of large cavities, whilst keeping the the thin top line and sole.

Personally I want to be able to hit the ball really HIGH or really LOW, so as long as the head allows me to do that , all good.

I don't give a rats arse what steel they are made out of - nor forged or cast. It is all about spin rates for me. My current clubs can hit my 8 iron just over 125m no higher than 10m in the air and they can also hit the towering 145m shot.

If I can do that - I am a very happy camper.
