Is there any love for the 909's? I found it to be a very ordinary driver from Titleist, almost as bad as the 907 series. 905's still easily better than both IMO.

Strange, advertising a driver without giving the loft; stranger still, somebody buying it if they didn't know the loft.:-s

It'll be interesting to see/hear the marketing spin from Titleist if the above proposition proves correct.

I heard an interview of Titleist execs about the release of the 909 series & their 'justification' for the 907's shortcomings. They said something along the lines of at the time of the 907's development people wanted more forgiveness, so they developed the club with that in mind. Then they said that the people now want more playability, hence the development of the 909. Blah, blah, blah.

It'll be interesting if the 905 still proves to be a better driver.

All the low markers who play with the 909, that I have asked, give this one the thumbs up. Caddied for our No1 in open pennant today who used a TM7 (quad). The opposition played with the 909 and was consistantly 25 to 30 metres longer off the tee. Both players hit their irons about the same distances(both played blades). I will be buying the 909 when they come down in price.

Is there a particular model that you like Razaar?

Which ever model has the smaller head.

D3 has the smaller head.

It is so much better than the 907 it seriously isn't funny. I had a 905R and traded it for a 907 which I regretted 2 rounds after doing it. It was serious rubbish. The 909 is a very very good driver.

Some like the 909 and some love them. Not that many hate them in comparison with the 907 series. Overall one very unpopular series and Titleist recruited it's Cobra techs to help them nut out the 909's and get back on track. The 909 series spin less than the 907 series which was a big dislike for many.

the 909 is just as good as the 905, im sticking to 909 just moving to the d3 with a different shaft, i loved my 905t but the 909 is just as good, if not better
