Apparently they might be granting a special dispensation for this particular day, but if this doesn't happen I'm going to have to count myself out.

Best make it a 10.30 hitoff, Sunday rounds at Keperra can be slow -although we will be first off. I'll reserve the full time slot & 2 motorized carts - so 2 spots up for grabs.:)

nah, don't need to ask him, despite his demeanour (Scottty will have a go at me about that word) Addo is fine. Unfortunately people don't see the behind the scenes work he does with the Junior Development Squad.

Its to the detriment of his game and to golf at a Senior level.

I'll let Ned update the scores when he gets a chance, but here are a few memorable moments:


golfer69 intentionally stepping on DC's tee'd up ball on the 1st tee.
DC dropping a bag off the cart on the 4th.
Me laughing my guts out, then doing the very same thing with Ned Kelly's bag on the 12th. :?
Iain hitting into the piss on 18, taking a drop, then smashing his ball into the stake 6 feet in front of him and having it come back and crack him in the crotch only a few inches from the twig-n-berries. :shock:

As for the golf, I shot exactly to handicap (93/73), but with a swag of 3-putts, and a 4-putt. My chip-in for bird on the 10th broke Iain's heart, but a hook off the tee on the next hole, followed by an even worse hook on the provisional saw me 5 off the tee, and in for a 9 (par 5).

Oh, and the absolute highlight of the day: A surprise visit from razaar with a very special present.

A swag of 3-pointers flanked by 3 washes for 35 points at Nudgee this morning tells me the inconsistancies in my game are, well, rather consistant.

Until those two or three blowout holes are ironed out, the 20 'cap is looking about right.
