Well I finally joined the Drummond Golf Club. My bro-in-law (already a member) referred me, so we both shared in a dozen Wilson 50 balls as part of the promotion.

I've never hit the Wilson 50 ball. I currently play Bridgestone 330s balls & love 'em.

I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with the Wilson 50 ball?

(Apologies if the answer is already buried in a thread somewhere)

Similar to the Bridgestone Treosoft, Soft cover feel / soft core / 2 piece
about a 70 (real world total) full ball compression. Like the Wilson Dx2 ball.
Cheers, Boz.

I enjoy using Wilson golf balls but they tend not to last very long. I have used several types over the years and I always graze them and have cracked a couple though they were not Wilson 50's. I am naive to the technology. The reply from Boz seams very comprehensive. However that is how they performed on the course.

I hit the Fifty a while back and was pleasantly surprised. Not a bad ball for the price.

I used it as one of my test balls for my new V Series and Mayhem is right
they shear up / scuff up a bit being a soft ionomer cover. Boz.
