Hey guys, pretty happy with these clubs as my gamers for the moment, but the k rudd money presents a good oppurtunity to look for a decent back up set. so let me know your thoughts.

My prefference is forged over cast and the budget will be $900, but less is preffered so i can get more gear:lol:

Let me know what you think i should have a hit of?

Not sure $900 will be enough to buy a golf game.

That'll just make it harder to choose between the ft 5, x460 tour, MT 460, and old raven red head being re shafted. so i thought hey 2 sets of playing sticks will be a no brainer:roll:

The J33 combos are a great set ..... pretty durable too considering they're a nice, soft forged club.

I found the R7TP's i went to afterwards though are a better club ... for me anyway. More forgiiving and durable.

Any particular reason you want forged clubs ? You know we aren't supposed to be able to tell the difference between cast and forged don't you ? ;)

so we have been told many a time on this forum.
Mainly wanted forged as they are easier to have adjusted and i just like being wankey and saying i have forged clubs.

But i still think they feel better IMO than cast anyday

if you can find a set of second hand srixon 506's could be worth a shot. Nice clubs and forged.

yeah, i had a hit of these when they first came out. they were a solid stick but not quiet up to my liking. they were a bit to chunky for me.

Keep the suggestions coming boys, offers to purchase are also welcome as i just got K rudd CASH.:smt038

I am pretty happy with my TMTP's, not forged but they are a little smaller than the R7TPs and have less offset.

You sure the i10's are not to your riking. Nice crubs :D Hit ball long way!

Try and get some Cobra Pro CBs. Nothing comes close, except maybe the TMs DaveMason is selling.

yeah, was thinking the mp 57's. not loking to spend to much cash as this is just a back up set but if i see em cheap, they will be well worth a go.

I am actually getting a set of J33 Combos, near new with Aldila Pro graphite shafts. Not the easiest to hit in the long irons, but fully fitted for me should be fine. Easily one of the best looking clubs on the market, the J36s perform well, but the blue insignias are a bit crook.

Best looking club in the pro shop???

My vote is for Exotics CNC Milled Forged MBs...NOTHING better to look at that those...

The bridgies are very preddy, just seeing what options came up as a back up set. when i find my swing again after doing some tinkering i will love them again for sure.
