pretty sure they'd be better for Mark than his current home brand irons

I usually take my club advice from a qualified professional clubmaker, but you seem to know the golf industry quite well (because you said so).

So what club is better, and why?

Obviously the AP2's, they cost more and are from Aschunet.

Something that says Titleist or Cobra on it.

Maybe you should put Titleist Grips on the Maltby's?

Stay with the Maltbys.

At least, you can be confident they weren't cloned from someone else's patent. :)

And what other options did he give you other than the Maltbies/HP's (or whatever the hell it is) that you play ?

Surely he didn't just say they were the only clubs that were right for you ? :?
