out-played out-classed, nowhere near the speed on the ball of the Japs did we have.. They just moved it around the CCM's so easily at times it was silly..old fashioned MISMTACH for mine..

Yep the J League definitely a level ( or two!) above us for sure.

The Mariners haven't really been competitive in the A-League this year, so why is this a surprise? They haven't won a game in 2009.

What is a surprise is that Newcastle were more than competitive in Japan the night before.

I suspect the Mariners aren't quite as bad as they looked, but they looked like they had stagefright last night.
