St George and Stgeorge Illawarra are two different animals.

Unless they came into the comp after 2005, then yes the Bronco's have beaten whatever name you want to call them.

Granted they haven't had a win against them since then, but never is not right.

This must be one of those rare times you were referring to in the Worst Post War Aussie cricket captain thread (http://www.ozgolf.net/forums/showpost.php?p=302702&postcount=72)?

Last Broncos win over StG-I - rd 6, 2005.

Good game.... and better commentary on OzGolf. Classic stuff mate!

Well done Benny... he's pissed off those who used to love him! Dell looked switched on too... especially towards the end... didn't look to be chatting to mates when there were words exchanged.

Aaaah PLAY THE TUNE...figure this, no team has scored more than the dragons have over 80 minutes. and they have now played MEL at Olympic Park and the Broncs in Suncorp..2 heavyweights in the comp and haven't been headed....Dragons Top 2 E.O.S.. for mine from here..

Broncos looked hopeless. St George have the wood over them big time. Pity for their supporters they can't do that to other teams.

Looks to me like the Bronco's will struggle if that is a true indication of their mettle - the forwards are abysmal - ever seen Joel Clinton in real life? - smallest front rower you've ever seen , no wonder he makes no yards - rest of them not much chop either................Saints played well but like to see them against a quality opposition

What happened at Suncorp tonight was a footy game played in the coaches boxes. no need to look at stats, nor missed tackles, competions, or metres gained.

Bennett was in the heads of players in Both teams and the head of Ivan Henkjak, coach of the Broncs.

Despite the predictable early try to Filau from a short field bomb, the Dragons seems to be the more composed, professional, and organised team. One could wonder whether it was Brisbane players waiting for direction from Bennett in the box on what to do next. Alas no longer is it so.

Creagh's try soon after the Bronc's opening dig was simply a matter of mass over matter. Too much is the young man going to be when faced up against the much smaller Australian captain in Lockyer. Catch and pass, run big men at the small men on short open side plays close to the line. Classic Bennett stuff.

Brisbane had the game to lose from there. and lose it they did.

Look at My Post..Storm at Olympic Park and they needed golden point.. Broncs at Suncorp...Who exactly do you call Quality Opposition then?

What a top bloody way to end a great day, picked up some nice prizes at the Leon Treadwell memorial golf day. I get home to a awesome cooked meal and my mighty Dragons rack up a top win against the Broncos :smt038:smt038

I just watched the game again . That was an awesome defensive display by the dragons. They smashed the broncos from the word go. Smith and Weyman were terrific buys. The Dragons have gone a long time without scary bastards like these two. Past underachievers like Creagh and Scott are playing better than I can remember.

And I'm even starting to like Wendell.

So another couple of prospective meat heads with the opportunity to have their names in the paper like Anthony Watmough (http://www.zimbio.com/Anthony+Watmough), Greg Bird (http://wotnews.com.au/news/Greg_Bird/), Ex Saints Sinner Wes Naiqama (http://www.leaguehq.com.au/news/news/knights-stand-down-naiqama-as-police-investigate-hotel-incident/2009/02/10/1234028035654.html), Brett Seymour (http://www.zimbio.com/Brett+Seymour), Daniel Holdsworth, Brett Stewart, Jake Friend to name but a few of MANY recents ones (Don't forget Sam Thaiday, Darius Boyd and Special K, a public toilet, a mobile telephone, or for the Doggy fans, Go Coffs Harbour,) and the list could turn into one HUGE thread.

And I'm even starting to like Wendell.

Does that mean we all will cut a line or two of draino powder with him ????

Maybe Benny Cousins could sign up as a Consultant ????

It would appear that no matter what has taken place previously, no matter how much has been made publicly as a warning and internally at all Clubs about player behaviour, they still light up the lights each week.

Violence, inappropriate behaviour and Drugs = ZERO TOLERANCE (And I am referring to the convicted cases, let alone the expanding portfolio of players yet to be charged or currently under investigation both by the Police and internally by their own Clubs.)
