....And not of the equipment type!!!

I joined Pacific last week as I couldn't pass up the no joining fee, and I want a local club that I can play regularly at. So that makes 6 clubs since I started playing golf; Logan, Windaroo, Riverlakes, Redland Bay, Colonial (mega member) and now Pacific.

Since 2002, I have played for Queanbeyan (1 year), Gold Creek (3 years), Belconnen (2 years), and Yowani (2 years). Add to that, working at Royal Canberra for 5 years. Like you said, you don't play too many "away games".

A sledge that I copped a couple of years ago in a Pennant match.

Played Schoolboy Footy with both Scott Wilson and Colin Ward. For a guy who ended up a prop forward Colin was inside centre at school, he bulked up some once graded by Phil Gould as a winger for Easts.

I am on my 7th club, but most of those changes are because I moved.

So what was the total payable Iain? $1069 plus $250 member loan or whatever?

It was a pro-rata rate, as the membership year is July-June, so I paid $550 for the 3 months left (that includes the $250 member loan).

Did you play footy with Scott Wilson? I never knew that. (http://www.ozgolf.net/forums/showpost.php?p=300491&postcount=29)

Many of the Polynesian boys started out as inside backs and halves before graduating to the forwards. SBW played in the halves until his late teens and of course Ruben Wiki started his NRL career in the centres for Canberra.

Could well explain the superior ball handling of many NZ forwards compared to the plods from Aus.
