I have only played the south course, and I'm guessing this will be played on the north course? So let me have a think about it, I won against Moe playing at Brooky for the first time, so maybe playing a new course is a good thing. Freddy you might have to be my playing caddy :-)

I've already emailed the guys in admin at Nudgee, this was their reply :

I am happy to do the same as I have done for you in previous years - if you give me the groups by the Saturday (before the Sunday when the timesheet is released) and I will put them down on the timesheet (earliest times possible on the 10th tee) when I get in at 8.30am on Sunday morning. This is the fairest way, so that you do not receive any advantage over other members wanting to book the times. I assume we're still ok then :?

Its an Open event, they want others to come and play, so there is no reason why they wouldnt be happy about that. A group booking makes life easier for them.

I'll try and see if we can all hit off on the same tee, but being such a large group, we might have to be split up a bit ... some off the 1st and some off the 10th (at staggered times also)

We'll just have to see what the club can do for us.

Just thought I would post a few course observations before the Plate. The fairways and greens are looking good and if you keep it in the short stuff you will go well. There are a few boggy patches, but these are mostly confined to the rough. Hopefully we won't have anymore rain between now and the Plate! The rough is quite thick, so if they maintain it at the present level, it'll be a tough round.

Do Nudgee lookup your golflink number before you play? if not, then you just play andthen you card goes in as one of the 5 you need.

Oh, i think you only need 3 now under the new rules to recover a lapsed handicap, if it only lapsed 1 Jan 2009.
