Currently I am gaming a TM R7 Quad 8.5 degree driver. (Aldila NV65 Stiff)

I have a massively high ball flight as normal for me that causes some serious problems when playing in the wind. Would like to lower trajectory if possible and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for shafts I should keep an eye out for in my ebay and ozgolf pro shop travels.

No idea what my swing speed is but I hit the ball a pretty long way if a little wayward.

I do know that I get much better results out of the heavier Speeder fairway shafts than the YS-6 in my 904F PT fairway woods.

Heavy Speeders - 857 and 952 (could have my numbers wrong)
Diamana Whiteboard - heavier will likely reduce trajectory
Heavy NVs will also work and are cheap from the aldilatourstore ebay shop.
Continuing along the Aldila line, the Protopype will also lower trajectory.

Thanks kwantfm.

Now I have an idea on what to keep an eye out for.

I currently have a hybrid on loan from a fellow ozgolfer that has an Aldila Proto by You shaft. Seems to suit me so you may well be on a winner, although I still seem to hit it pretty high. (Also could be the club since it is the only hybrid I've ever hit I can't really compare it to anything else.)

VS Proto tends to throw the ball up a bit. To lower trajectory you should move to the NV or Protopype.

Is this one of the ones you mean?

Yep... the Pype is very tip stiff. It will suit you if you have a strong and late release and have relatively high clubhead speed and load the club aggressively in your downswing.

Also take a look at http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Aldila-Store__W0QQ_armrsZ1

Look for the NV 85, 95 and 105. Depends what sort of weight you like.

PM702 can be had pretty cheap these days.
