Great collection, especially the two-faced ones in the OP. (A player in the Monday comp. has one, and it sounds like a tuning fork!)

The double-sided 1A was Karsten's first design which he came up with in his kitchen using 2 sugar cubes placed between 2 ice-cream sticks. It's like ringing a bell when struck (hence the name "Ping"). I've taken it out on the course before but it attracted too many funny looks on the practice green because of the noise.

How many of Scotty's "designs" will still be talked about, collected, made and used when his company turns 50?

I bought a BeCu B60 from Addam that looks just like Camilo's Scotty and rolls the pill pure. It has relegated the Ansers and the 2Ball to the garage. While my collection is nothing like yours OMN I have two BeCu, the B60 and an Anser 2, and a Mag Bronze Ping Anser at the moment. Give me a couple of years and the collection might be in double digits.

The becu Pings are great feeling putters. Here's a few a mate of mine collected (how do you upload full-size pics?):

Another lot of becus from a collector in Wales. I'm not sure which is more impressive - the putters or that great shag pile.

U.S. ebay - probably paid more for postage than the putters themselves.

Probably heaps of them.

I'll bet his putter headcovers still bring in good coin for years to come also

BeCu is Berryllium Copper. Yours is not but I'd be interested anyway (even though I have one already!) as I love em. PM me a price please mate.

Rick.

I haven't been round here long enough to get everyone's sense of humour but I'm assuming (and hoping!) this post was a joke.
