Oh sorry for the misunderstanding. Here's me thinking 2 people were affected and me being one of them. And why can't people have an opinion if they weren't affected directly anyway? Hell, I'm not Nicol Brown, but had an opinion of OJ Simpson. That's the worst cop out ever.

Keza was/is a forum member who cheated the handicap system while working in a proshop, entering ad-hoc results to get her hcp down to 1, then every time she played a real round she shot 90+. Lied about it trying to get a traineeship.

To top this act of dishonesty off, she then 'bought' a driver off Jarro - but then didn't pay him. I can't recall how this finished, but he may have got the money out of her 6 months later.

To be clear, this is not dragging a name through the mud, these are facts.

For the record, I've always agreed with you Pete in that he would have been aware of the stamp. There is no way that he wouldn't have noticed. All ho's check purchases as soon as they are received.

I play 300's and didn't notice there was a serial # on them until I'd had them for 12 months and switched the shafts.

For the record, I do think there was a case to have them refunded.

Do you adjust your lies and lofts yourself? I don't know anyone who does not check for any hosel marks or damage after adjusting clubs.

PS keza only got to 3 (from memory), and nothing was proved nearly all riverlakes rounds for ladies are entered as ad-hoc results because the fields are to small and the proshop was lazy. Also the Trainee Pro was given the tasks of entering golf link scores not keza.

I also know she did not travel well but I had seen her shoot even par rounds around riverlakes and windaroo.

I can't remember all the details, but Keza basically didn't shoot better than 17 over in a correctly entered round. Further, she didn't shoot worse than something like 2 over in an ad-hoc round :shock:

To top it off, there were a few non ad-hoc Riverlakes rounds that were 20+ over and she came to Nudgee and had one of the worst swings I've ever seen!

One very final note on the subject, she had a -2 off the stick in her golf link playing off 5. On that day the paper listed a net score of even par as the winner of the ladies comp!
