Gee, wonder if that hole gets windy from the right. Look at those wind-swept trees!

That is a shame.

Bruce Dickinson also had a similar experience when he got to walk Cypress.... got invited by a member for a game the next day which he couldn't attend due to commitments at Pebble Beach.

So the unplayable course is playable. Now I just need to get let on the course to "walk" it, and an opportunity to play it will arise.

Looks awesome zrw. Just don't ever mention it when I see you face to face. I will turn green.

hmmm, which bar to I have to drink in next week to meet someone that's a member? Possibly not the bars I hang out at I guess. ;)

Awesome course. Since it's a MacKenzie design they host the Alastair MacKenzie Cup on occasion, the last time being in 2007. Our club (also a MacKenzie) sends a team every year. The guys who went said this place was unbelievable, better than you can ever imagine. I'd double-check that $200 USD to play without a member, I'm fairly sure you'll still need a sponsoring member to sign you in but they don't have to play with you. It's not like some random could walk up to it and drop $200 for 18 holes..........

They had a special arrangement to be at the course, so they had the opportunity to play for that amount. There is no way in hell anyone could walk up off the street and play for 10 times that.
