However, he is a pretty short favourite after so much time off.

don't think you can ever bet against the man. i'd like to know just how much prep he's put into this. i can't see him coming back unless he was ready to win.

You never get more than 2/1 on Tiger before the tourny starts. He regularly wins after a layoff. Did it at the US Open after not playing since the masters and despite major structural damage. I think $5 is generous.
