 I was going to say that! Doesn't look too happy. Do they have to use stock shafts if they are given clubs by the manufacturer?

No, they can use any shaft they want...

It's just that a lot of the shafts they put in the TM's are coloured the same as the TP's so as to look like they use the stock shaft....

the pics don't bother me on this forum, coz it's actually quite quick to load up!!!

but on the other hand, I don't think I wanna see Sergio's shaving accident that clearly too!!!

Why??

The poor sap probably has a dial-up connection. Oh wait, so do I. Doh!
Not a problem at work though.

I've been putting off asking this but I don't want to come across as an equipment dope ( which I am , I know nuthin ) and if this has been asked before I must have missed it.
From the discussions about this driver and the pics , I take it that the face angle is adjustable .Or something must be adjustable. Is that correct ? I always thought this sort of thing would be illegal. Or is it OK providing the adjustments aren't made during a round.

If anybody replies, please don't use the eye roll smilie. :D

And BTW , it must be the ugliest POS I've ever seen.

Hi Mike,

Yeah, it's a wild looking piece of gear the R7 Quad. Nudgee (aka "Gear God") is now using one of these things and can probably give you the low down.

It might be wild from underneith but it looks normal from address. You can't change the physical face angle etc. There are 4 weight ports in the sole of the club where different weights can be positioned. By moving the weights around you can change (I guess) the centre of gravity. I spose you can change it from draw bias, to fade bias, to higher launching etc etc.

Some will say that changing the weights dosen't have much affect, but most people I've read that have used it (including nudgee) say that it can have a massive effect on ballflight and performance.

As long as you don't change them during a round it's fine.

It's the high tech equivalent to whacking a lump of lead tape on the back/heel/toe of your driver to help correct ball flight....

Sounds good to me anyway!!! (Although hubby has reneged on getting me R7 immediately as he can't get it at good enough cost price yet.... he says soon... grrrrr :( )
