The only other reason I would be up at 5:30 is to play golf.

I thought it might be sarcasm, but, and I have stated this before, sarcasm should be accompanied by an emoticon.

What driver will I have at Logan??? don't know as Gazgolf is now the owner of the R7 - for fun I may bring a 48" long Japanese Tour Fourteen driver that has been sitting in my closet waiting to come out. Onewood tells me that Logan is very open so it may not be as "punishing" to spray a driver.

Apart from that nothing else fancy.

Sorry Onewood about the mispelling but I was in a hurry and it was easier to type a 1 rather than "one"

Have you applied for Woolies Night Fill or regular casual work? I used to do night fill during school. It's better money, as they paid "penalty" rates for the late hours and it frees up your days for golf!!!

Just confirming i am a definite starter. I know thats slack but with my work i cant really book things in advance on weekends. (unless its a 6am start).

And before you start making bets wtith Golfer69 he has been praticing hard all week and keeping a carefull eye on his dietary intake. I am predicting some fine form from the Gold Coast Wonder tomorrow.

Also confirming the first tee time is 10:44...winners of no majors, no minor...Tez, jarro, eaqs and myself.

yup, ill bring the digi too to get some snaps acorss the groups blakey.

tried to swing the clubs again this arvo after edging the lawn by hand with a kitchen knife...not pretty. came home after 4 holes, lost my UTRI tour, still feeling a bit crook after coming back from honkers...at least the SARS cleared up!

i think i fit into the non-round category. it appears that i've lost about 10kilos since being overseas. just about the only ggod thing that happened!...oh and that wedding thing i guess....grey area really, im not fussed either way.

Congratulations to Golfer69 and Macleod for paying $18.80 to play, when everyone else got to play for only $8.80. Pretty sure the bloke in the pro shop took one look at those two and thought "Chump's"

The rest of the scores from memory were
Golfer68 38
Iain 37
Onewood 36 local knowledge saved him
marktheblake 36
Nudgee 33 hit a 340m drive
Macleod 24 still on a honeymoon i think.

AndyLo and JimA I dont know.

We havent heard from Onewood tonight becuase he didnt have a holeinone today.

Now with all those 300+ metre drives today you would reckon there would have been some eagles out there, Did anyone have an EAGLE?

What's the par and acr at logan?

Nothing worse than thinking 'man, at least I managed to stick to my hc, then find out that the ccr still bumps you out.'

That sux.

One question - you seem to only have pictures of peoples ar$es? Is there a reason for this
Fortunately I had a wide angle lense, and in any case it was their better side.

You bastards played in shorts and shirts.
How kind of you to notice that the Gentlemen played in long trousers.

and the AWESOME Killer Whale crushing drives 310 meters down rock hard fairways
With drives that long surely he managed to get an eagle?

PS I noticed you were so excited with getting close to my bag with the camera..you were shaking with excitement and the pic came out a little blurry
If your arse wasnt blocking all the sunlight the shutter speed would have been faster so it wouldnt have been blurred. Anyway your just jealous becuase you didnt get any eagles from your 310 metre drives.

Macleod- love your photos - great camerawork, I can see the ball in every one of them, some are even up in the sky :-)

Did i mention those pastey white legs were scoring eagles whilst the rest could only manage 350 metre drives and Pars ?

Blakey...I kept hitting the weeds in the greens.
Did that preferred lie rule carry on to the putting surfaces too ?
