I'm after a set. Ideally black, blue or green dot and reg flex, but happy to buy others and bend them if need be.

Happy too to discuss a trade for my MP-60s if you'd like.

MP-60s are 3-PW in 7 to 9/10 nick, R300, 2deg up, 38" 5i.

I got mine from 3balls.

4 sets of shafts later . . . very happy.

what was wrong with the shafts?

More importantly, what's wrong with the MP-60s, Scottt?

Who said there was anything wrong with them? They're great sticks. I'm just a bit sick of looking at them. Make an offer, sell Uahmad your GC Mids and everyone's a winner.

Reg shafts are no good to me, and reshafting them would be a frivolous undertaking. At least financially.

Shaft bands say S300...

I saw a lovely set at my local range a few weeks ago. They were in perfect order and he only wanted about $130 for them....If I hadnt over spent on everything I would have bought them just to look at as they were so nice...can check if they are still there?

The shafts would be too stiff for Snottt anyway Shaz.

$130 for a set of s58's does sound too cheap not saying they weren't that price tho. I thought I got a good deal getting my i3 blades for $200.

I'm guessing it was $130 each.

Sounds like they were snapped up, in fact I know the pro there and he wasnt best pleased as they were sold for $125 for 3 - 9i...the assistant thought they were $125 for the set rather than the $125 per club as instructed!! Woops!

I know this is a thread about s58s but I hit the s57 (6 iron) today in a golf shop & man was I impressed, which is saying something because I've always been biased against Ping. I'm looking at my Titty irons in a different light now & I'm starting to get that ho'ing itch that I've never had before. Help!! :smt087

Either log out from this forum and never come back.

OR

Hang around, and buy the Pings with Rudd's handout.

No other options exist.

There is an ex demo set of S57's at the pro shop at Gordon for $999. They are normally very flexible with price and if you pay cash you would probably get at least $100-200 off that price.

Thanks for the tip SH. I've had to give myself an uppercut. I went to the driving range this morning with the s57, AP2 & my Titleist 755s. Wouldn't you know it, I hit the 755s best, so they're staying in the bag. The grass can sometimes look greener as they say ...

Virge put the R300s in them for me, but he had no R300 shaft bands left, so he put S300 stickers on them

Either that or he just put S300s in them and told me they ere R300s...

Maybe he soft-stepped them once or twice.

I kid, I kid. It's not like R300s cost more than S300s.
