Was it taken down out of respect for the pigeon's family members who might've been reading the forum??

I'll take a not so wild guess that the forum was The Hackers Paradise. The guy that runs it is a prize ... [pigeon?]

On this side of the Pacific, we have a different interpretation of 'shooting a couple of birdies' on a golf course.
At least, you didn't use a gun.

Was the hawk in trouble for being on the course while there is a frost?

Its only offensive if the kite/hawk takes off with your ball. Witnessed it twice at Weipa G.C. the offender was a red kite on both occassions.

Rod, Todd,
Cover your eyes, it's a boy hawk and a boy pigeon.
We'll have none of that, golfer-inos.

It is all those leaves on the fairway that make it offensive. Cant have photos of substandard golf courses on classy golf forums

Maybe Bill Lawry is a member over there, and had a whinge.
