I'm after a cheap set of clubs for my son, and i mean cheap  he has decided he would like to try golf, but he often takes stuff up and dumps it not long after.
So a cheap set with everything would be the go, prefer local pick up, Victoria
Any sets out there that are taking up space and you want to flog??
Thanx

Z,
I'll ask the old man tonight, he usually has a few sets lying around.
Right handed? Left handed?
Anything particular Driver, FW, 3-sw, putter, bag and buggy?

He's right handed Chappy, i was thinking 1 3 5 3-sw putter bag and buggy or something close to that.
Cheers

He's 15 btw and has his fathers height, so an adult set is ok

Hmm... I have an old set of Lynx Parallax irons (3-PW or SW), a titleist 7.5* 975D driver (just needs a grip) and is a lot easier to hit than the loft says, and a ram Zebra putter.
Willing to let the lot go for $180 + postage (assume $40 to your neck of the woods).
I also have a 15* Vsteel 3 wood that I'll need some persuading to part with, but it could be done.

You probably should mention your price ranges.

Sorry, 100 to 250, just want something he can get started with, he will most likely play for 6 to 12 months and chuck it in

Well my offer of irons, driver and putter defintiely fit within that ;)
You might find just buying a set from Rebel Sport or Golf mart might be the way to go, or your local cash converters.

I never even thought of cash converters Mike.

I am in Albury and have a basic set from a mate that has driver, 3 wood, 5 wood (metal woods) with 3-SW, putter and a basic bag. (I think that is the setup - I'd have to check tonight)
I can't remember the brand / model, but they are about 3 years old.
$75 pick up in Alb ?
