Looking to replace my AP1 gap wedge with a 48 or 50 Vokey Spin Milled or 200 series. Satin finish preferred

Will probably bend to 49*

Is it generally advisable to strengthen or weaken wedges. I understand how the bounce changes and in both cases they would be 49-07.
