What are the tricks I need to know ?

Hey Virge,

Come down to Wollongong and I'll give you a free membership to Jono's Hardcore Gym (aka my garage). 8)

Good on you mate - thanks,

I use to have a gym in the garage - but it just rusted... Couldn't and never used it. Never had the thing you need to do it.

I am hoping someone has a clever way of not paying through the nose for membership.

Do it at home Virge ;)

The simple problem is that.

I work at home
I live at home
I have to deal with Mother's group at home.

I like to go outside every now and then . . .

Surely someone must know a trick or two !

I pay about $60 a month at Fitness First. $95 a little extreme.

These places always run specials, especially in the new year once everyone gets their resolution in to get fit.

Zest out here has a promotion right now for $10.55 per week, which is pretty good.

They all want your business, so you can bargain and get them to waive joining and/or admin fees.

I do a boxing class with my wife in a group of about 8 people. Not fighting, but cardio with a trainer. Once a week for an hour. 10$ each at the local community centre.

Doesn't $395 for 6 months work out to $65/month ?

That seems to be the going rate in Sydney at the moment doesn't it ? Not that I have put a single foot into a gym since finishing footy and have no immediate plans to do so...

When my current gym membership runs out in March ($80 a month), I'm joining the AIS. No contracts, just pre pay $13.50 a week.

Bit far to drive for you though Virge.
