I'm having a mental block at the moment. I've decided to stay right handed instead of buying a whole new set of lefty clubs. I have also bought a new driver. I have rarely used a driver for the fact that mentally it gives me the shits. My 3 wood goes 230-240, but for the life of me I cant seem to hit that driver 3 feet in front of me. Does anyone know of an experienced teaching pro on the Northern beaches? I'm looking someone who is experienced enough for efficient diagnosis and remedies.

Cheers

Now here's an idea. Why don't you set up your bag so every 2nd club is right-handed, and every other club is a cacky-hand?

It could certainly come in handy when you get stuck in the woods. ;)

mixed bag for sure! The reason I thought of going left is that I play hockey left handed (not the girls version of hockey that people play here, I'm talkin' 'bout Ice Hockey) and I seem to hit the golf ball ok from that side. But it would take me eons to get that stroke correct and I would like to get in a few good holes this lifetime.

How long have you been in Australia? Canuck's don't usually play golf this time of year.

Hi - can't recommend anyone on the Nothern Beaches - but if you're willing to head down towards the airport - Denise Hutton is fantastic.

Dennise is a top chick - I think she is out of Moore Park by memory. Proof that you do not have to be a PGA Professional to teach the game.

Narrabeen driving range has a bloke called Dwayne Robinson who is an ex tour player and a sensational teacher. Teaches the same method that Gary Barter does out of the Australian golf club.

He has all levels up to tour pro and is good for someone looking to simplify the swing a bit. I have quite sent a few blokes (and girls) to him and have not heard a bad word back.

Nice bloke and well worth a visit to check him out.

Just give up on the driver. I'll give you $50 for that crappy old Cally FtiQ. Actually make it $100 I'm in the Xmas spirit.
