I bought this to try for myself, 3balls like new with a few lights marks on the face and crown which would probably polish out.

Righthanded, but I bought stiff and they shipped an X !!! The shaft is a PL Red, includes the like new D2 zipup headcover.

Taking a hit at $370 delivered, any interest whilst I await the 3balls reply about sending it back ?

I'm gunna turn this into a "pissed off with 3balls" thread now !

So they asked me for the serial so they could confirm that I was telling the truth. They checked with Titleist who confirmed it was X stiff even though they told 3balls it was stiff when they bought it ? Confused ? me too !

So, they offer me $20 refund to keep it ! I said no, maybe in a few more friendly ( at this stage) words.

They then come back with an offer of a $30 credit on my next shipment (clearly I'm a frequent flier :)) so I went a little bit harder this time.

1) If it were described as X Stiff I wouldn't have even bid on it.
2) you can check and state paint chips, popups, this and that but you can't check a shaft ?

I have suggested a $70USD refund (as this is about $100AUD and probably what I could sell it for on ebay, about $300) and then I can try and sell it and not lose, otherwise I will send it back at my cost and they can fully refund.

Stand by for the next reply !

Starting to hear of a few mistakes from 3balls lately. Maybe they've gotten too big ?

Threaten to send that fat/bald thing from your avatar over to them as a trade.

They may bar me from bidding and never return my emails !

Aren't you using Paypal ?

Can't Paypal help with this kind of situation? I think Paypal favours the buyer more often than not?

Yes I am, but a Paypal dispute is the last resort.

Although it is a 907 = Deep bore, may end up playing quite stiff... Does it have a "Made For " shaft in it?

Yeah, I guess it has a made for titty longer tip. It should play true to flex, not stronger.

So, should I hit the 8.5 907 with Diamana 73 S or the 8.5 907 with PL Red X ???

Vegas benefitted from a similar mistake from 3Balls with me. I ordered a 16/18 & 20 Baffler Pro. Ended up with 16 & 2 x 18*.
Only thing is they were happy for me to just have Fedex collect and return with full refund. In the end I should have just done that.

I'm sort of surprised you got the money you wanted for the 907. The old man's pro was trying to sell him one with a stock shaft for $150 ex demo. I would have thought the $320 was out of the market range.

$355 actually ;)

Luckily for me, not all ebayers hang out on golf forums :)
