Keperra CGC will have a new teaching professional from next month. The following details have been provided to the membership:
Chris's experience and history within the industry is extremely impressive; between 1981 and 1996, club professional and/or head teaching professional at numerous clubs including Royal Hobart and Sarawak, and Director of Golf at Shearwater Resort. From 1996 to the present, Chris has been Head Teaching Professional at Nudgee Golf Club, has been Head Coach at the National Golf Institute, lectured at the University of New England on teaching golf and conducted numerous coaching seminars for the Hong Kong PGA. He is, or has coached a number of Professionals including Scott Hend, Rachel Kirkwood, Matthew Goggin, Gavin Flint as well as the Hong Kong National Team. He has coached at many International Venues in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Florida, Miami, Michigan & South Carolina.
Chris has a passion for teaching and a special interest in junior coaching, having been instrumental in the very successful junior programs at Nudgee and in Hong Kong. He is a very personable and member orientated Club Professional who relishes interacting and playing golf with the members and wants to be seen as the PGA face of KCGC.
