Starting my run early for most improved 2009 :)

39 points at sawtell in very wet conditions, seeing a lot of drivers plugged, good enough for a win too.

11/14 fir
9/18 gir
32 putts
2 birds

Dropped from 10.5 to 9.1 in a week cool, bring on Brooky

played camden valley today

course was in great condition

hit the ball really well.

Didnt putt well

Fairways - 8 fairways - hit it well today

Greens - 11 - irons going well, the X100's will make them a little more consistant

Putts - 34 - should have had 4 less putts easy, ah well

Ended up with 37 points +6.

Ah well.

Brookwater is gonna be a mess by the weekend. We've had 3 inches of rain already and they're predicting another 4 inches by Saturday. Hope you're a mud runner!

And a win in the 2ball aggregate.

You've now won there more times in the last two years than I have.

seems a course i could shoot very low at.

There was a bit of wind, so on a quiet day and the putter working i think it would be a course i could really rip up.

Played in a swamp at Wynnum today. First roll with the spider, goes ok, feel a lot more confidence with it. Played a weird 13 hole comp cos the other holes are bogs. 22 pts. Was fun but a bit of a slog with no run and drivers plugging ... Hopefully Reddy will be ok on Sunday.

36 points at Albury today, in windy & damp conditions. 4 putts on the last from a massive brain fart soured a pretty good round.

Had a hit with Coffs_Hacker today at Brooky. I shot 80 gross for +1 vs Par. Will prob drop a shot as a result, given it was pretty wet and windy out there.

Coffs hit the ball pretty well but had a few issues on the greens for -6.

Did you play with someone other than Dion? ;) :D I imagine it would be a bastard in high wind.

I had a distinctly average 31 pts at Cairns today, but somehow it felt a whole lot worse than that. My ball-striking was terrible, but my short game scrambling held it all together (sorta)... back to the drawing board.

Churchill Park (http://www.churchillparkgolf.com.au/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1) in surprisingly ok conditions. A bit windy, but no rain today.

96 gross (47 / 49)
36 putts (1 x 3 putts, 16 x 2, 1 x 1)
4 Fairways
2 GIR
0 Birdie
2 Pars
8 Bogies
8 Doubles
0 "others"
1/4 Sand saves

Swapped out the R7 460 TP for a Burner, and loved it. Apart from one instance, I was playing on the correct hole all day, rather than being one or two fairways over. All but two of the missed fairways still left me with a good second shot as I wasn't that far off.

Just kept leaving putts short all day.
