So is anyone planning on coming down?

Is this a weekend we Mexicans can reciprocate the hospitality shown to us recently at The Champs. I'm sure I can make at least 1 bed available. And if you bring the sticks we'll take you somewhere nice to play as well.

Who's coming?

Ticketek only lists;
Australia vs Uzbekistan - 1 April 2009
Australia vs Bahrain - 10 June 2009

Do they seriously play Japan only 2 days after playing Bahrain?

I got the ticketek alert just today - might only be going out to their mailing list so far.

No double headers on the day of or after the match though.

If we beat Bahrain on Wednesday and id Japan beat Qatar (both away) than it's looking more and more like a dead rubber. Seeing it's the middle of winter in Melbourne, I'll probably be giving this a miss.

EDIT: Oh, that and the fact that I'm over the FFA price gouging for these tickets.

Thanks for the offer, but the accommodation is sorted. We'll be staying in Little Collins St. I'm open to suggestions for a round, but I'm anticipating Saturday will be the only chance I get to play.

I was thinking of picking a weekend to come to Melbourne if cheap flights came up. I just looked at the calendar and this clashes with the Nudgee Plate and it's a bye in the AFL, so it's no chance of getting me down there.

I just found out that the Wallabies are playing the Azzurri (including Craig Gower ) on the Saturday night at Etihad stadium. Awesome timing! 8) I'm likely to go to this one as well.

So are you planning on going to the Rugby as well Courty?

And when are you flying out? We could put in a big weekend on the course.
I haven't played in a month and am gagging for a hit.

I'm confirmed for this now. Just doing the overnighter as not up for a 3 day bender. (yes it's not optional with the lads I'm going with)

Get into Melbourne Wednesday Morning, and out Thursday lunch. Will be keen for a pre-game beer somewhere.

Got tickets for the Rugby already.

I'm flying out on Sunday mid-morning, so Saturday is the only golfing day on the itinerary.
