Hi Folks,

I see Foxtel has the golf live from China on Thur and Fri but not live on the weekend. Does anyone know if it being broadcast live on the weekend in Australia?

A few of the big names ripping the course up in pretty poor afternoon weather.

Scott is playing beautifully on the back 9.
Garcia almost eagled the 18th, but had to settle for a birdie and a 66.

What a great event! Yes the weather looked pretty bad eh!!! Smog there is scary.

Smog is scary. Combine it with light rain and visibility is poor at best.

Missed the end of Round 1, good to see Stenson back up there. If the worlds best keep up the top of the leaderboard, this could be a great finish.

I am hoping Scott can start the new Euro season with a bang and take some form to the US in 09. He was playing really well today, hopefully that hand injury is behind him.

It is great fun watching Stenson. Hits the ball a loooong way for what seems like a fairly compact action.

This thread probably should be in Tour Talk, but I found it, so I don't mind.

I had a good look at the program guide, and it is clear that the HSBC drew the short straw in the scheduling. Obviously the Test Match got one channel covered, the A League soccer (probably committed by contract) is on another one, and there is live World Cup league and live motor sport on the third channel.

I guess they can't fit them all in.

The HSBC is replayed 10.30pm Saturday, and the final round at 10.30 Monday morning.

What I find most interesting about this tourney is the number of superstars playing. The amount of appearance money they pay must be absolutely enormous.

Yeah, most of the big names are in the field.

And if Scott and Ogilvy can stay in the hunt, that is a great sign. Ogilvy shooting the lights out today.

4 equal at -12 at the moment including Geoff O.

I hope he can get over the line.

Well we all know that garcia is capable of a choke. However, he looks like he will birdie 14.

Would love Ogilvy to win here.

Do we have a winner

adlo
10th November 2008, 03:26 PM
Nope, back up the 18th to play it again... we'll be waiting for someone to drain a birdie.

Adam Scott was the only player to take on the final hole in 2 shots. Wilson & Garcia look like playing it as a 3 shotter every time

Wilsons drive almost in the water. See if Garcia can keep it in the fairway and put the pressure on

adlo

Garcia has been amazing off the tee box. His drive on 18 has landed in the same spot as the last 2. Wilson needs a good recovery.

adlo
10th November 2008, 03:32 PM
Both players within a few metres of each other after 2. A battle of the short game here.

GARCIA!!!

Drains a lovely 15 ft putt to birdie the second playoff hole.

adlo

Over. Wilson missed his putt.

Garcia now the #2 ranked golfer in the world behind Tiger.
