1.Mad Rush
2.Nom Du Jeu
3.Ice Charriot (Roughie)

Bet on a different race.

Thanks for the info AP, I will be putting a few bets on the Non Tab Round at Tamworth. I just wanted to see what everyone was watching in the Cup.

Go the office sweepstakes.

None being run in the car on the way up to Tamworth ;)

Yeah I'm on Mad Rush as well. Zipping's another good chance. Other than that 4,7,11 is due for the trifecta after about 15 years. ;)

I have printed my racebook for the Tamworth Races tomorrow. It is a non Tab Round with 5 races from 1:40 till 4:50. Fields are not too big, biggest is 12 and smallest is 5. Hopefully it will be a good afternoon.

Damn, I am also on Mad Rush.

Never a good sign when everyone jumps on board with the same horse.

My roughie is Gallopin...

Dropped 4.5kgs since winning the CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS CUP two weeks ago starting from barrier 10. Has placed (3-1-1) from 5 starts at Flemington and previously won twice over 2500m.

Same jockey albeit starting in the next postcode for The Cup but plenty of time to find his way in... why not a bit of funny money each way.. currently paying $14 for the place...

I would have said have a couple on Zarita, she looked like she wanted a little more distance in the Cox Plate after coming home 4th and would have had some value, but I have just read that the trainer has scratched her due to an infection.

FWIW I have C'est La Guerre and Bauer in the office sweep.

Who are we kiddling this race is a goddam raffle

I always go $25 each way on the horse paying $8. Tends to cycle win, place, nowhere. Due for a win in 2008, with Nom de Jeu.

Covered my "assets", with $5 each way on Profound Beauty for dad, as he misses the office sweeps, since he's retired.

ps. Zipping better not win, as it cost me the housekeeping last year, by finishing 4th. Lazy bugger.

Is there a grey mare in this one?

I don't have a clue, and I haven't had a collect on the Cup since Might and Power.

So don't bother taking a box trifecta of Septimus, C'est La Guerre, Mad Rush, Nom De Jeu and Gallopin'.

I do find it strange that Septimus was this year's certainty Boom Import, and it was out to 3rd or 4th fav and paying over $10 an hour ago. Blowing like a gale is the technical racing term, I think.

I've gone all out on Zipping this year!
with Nom de Jue, Mad Rush, C'est La Guerre, and Barbaricus in my multi's.
Barbaricus will be very close at the end, might go down and have 20 on the nose of it tomorrow come to think of it.

clearly i know nothing about horses, but my bets are:-

Box Trifecta - Moatize, Mad Rush, Master O'Reilly (MMM)
Each Way - Barbaricus, Profound Beauty

And for those at work, here's possibly the only decent thing to ever come out of telstra.

I've got Red Lord in the office sweep, so here's hoping I get my $ back for coming last!

Yeah I nabbed Zipping as well, so not to upset with that.

On another note, I put an multi in for all the favourites to get a place in the first 7 races. 4 from 4 so far.

Interest rates being cut by 0.75% is the only win I had today.

I had Viewed in the $2 office sweep, which got me $22!

Pity I spent $30 on sweeps & TAB.

Financially ? Loser.

Morally ? Winner.

Gambling is evil. From now on, I'll only partake in sure things, like interstate golf matches and number 17 in next year's Melbourne Cup.

What was then horse that won the QLD Cup?

I might know FA about horses and even call the Brisbane Cup the QLD Cup, but I wish I had of followed this tip yesterday.
