Surviving clubs from 07 champs ?

After not changing my clubs for years I was surprised when I realised that the only remaining clubs from last year's champs are my putter and 7 wood..........obviously the new Cobra L4V went in and I replaced the aging powerbilt's with a new set of graphite precept ev3's earlier this year ...
any other major bag changes from anyone?

Not one single change from last year so far, but I may dump the 48° Vokey for the Raven PW. I have trust issues with the Vokey's distance. That said I also have trust issues with the 3W, 5W and hybrid. :roll:

Don't ask how I have managed to thread mine this one, but hear we go...

Same driver. Same irons with different shafts. Same putter. Different wedges, although still Vokey and I definitely had one of them in the cupboard in 07.

I still have every club from the 07 champs, including the 1 iron and the hybrid I got there from Courty. Have two more wedges though. Since I'm off scratch and have 0 chance of winning anything, I might carry everything, which would be close to a bag of 18.

Why have you assumed you are off scratch? I think "the committee" has discretion in this matter, and you may just play off you old cap. In other words, you will be assessed as zero threat to the title.

I don't think there was too much trust in 990B's handicap in the first place.
True, and when he came out of the blue, even more so.

Goughy's golfing history is well known to all of us, there should be no issue with him playing off his last handicap, in fact there shouldnt even be a discussion about this.

07-08 - 23* hybrid replaced a 7w.

08-09 - Driver, 3w, 5w, 20* hybrid, SW, LW and putter. (Plus a driver, two wedges and two putters, which only had tourist visas.)
