I reckon this thread is just for tipping who you reckon will win.

As per usual, I'd suggest we all chuck in $10 on the day. winner takes all & (hopefully) buys drinks.

Tipping me wouldn't be the sharpest act anyone could do. I don't have a great record in online forum golf matches.

aren't you the low marker at the champs?

sms316
23rd October 2008, 01:56 PM
That doesn't mean much.

You have seen who I have to spend Saturday with, haven't you?

Can't handle the pressure by the sounds of it.

The only saving grace here is that I am a seasoned "on the piss" player and every week I have to play with blokes who try and put you off every shot.

poidda

A very valid point young man.
I think poidda refers to it as "pi$$ fit".
I have not had much training of late and will be going in underdone. I would preferred to have gone hard a month out and then tapered off (Hackett and Perkins taught me that).

Well I'm off to Melbourne for a lads trip for the next 7 days, so will be well p1ss fit come the champs. Maybe not dc fit, but ......

Exactly. One can of Jimmy per nine is hardly a strong preparation for a dozen for the round.

Maybe 4 per 9 although my best is 14 in 18 holes. Bit messy toward the end that day but had a solid 37pts.

I can tell you lads now that if jack gets on the turps like he's suppoed to, he is no hope.
I had a session with him at the races once and he was embarassing..a total lightweight.

I'm sure as hell not in DC's league of consumption but made jack look like a rank amateur.

My missus still talks about dropping off that embarassing bloke from the races that time.
We kicked off at midday at the races and by mid arvo he couldn't string two words together. I recall he also didn't back his first winner until about 7pm at the Tamworth trots when we moved base to the Benora booza.

Sounds like he will fit in well then ;)

Ok then, we need to get jack well and truly sloshed so he's no hope of winning this thing.

Dickie,

Apart from all of that rant being a complete pack of lies, you forgot to mention the bit about me almost convincing you to hijack that stretch limo outside the races so we had a lift home.

You were a disgrace that day, a drunken embarassment hell bent of making a fool of yourself. Perhaps we should consult the third member of our posse that day and see what he thinks?

I'm gonna revise my nett tip to Haysey for several reasons:

1. He's been in consistently decent form (despite what he might say)
2. He has been spending heaps of time on the range
3. He may not be very long, but he doesn't miss wide. Judging by the overhead photo, that could be invaluable at PM.

Besides, you were on the range this arvo when I couldn't keep the ball in the same postcode:smt093

Did damo and vegas hit the piss pretty big at bribie ?

I recall Chicken Parmigiana / Coopers Sparkling Ale / a pool table / some scrubbers / Grunt buying schooners of Bourbon ? / late night poker and losing my money .....apart from that I had a great weekend.
