since I've been onto my staff progressive, i'm starting to fall into the idea of owning a set of either a new generation set of combos, or perhaps even BLADES! *shock-horror*

but the weird thing - I'm getting nice clean hits with the CBs in the staff, but not nearly as consistent in the 8-Pw blades....what's the deal there??? :?

anyway...throw me a couple of suggestions of combos and blades...especially of brands that aren't as "common"...

well i was gonna recommend TP combos, but i know you don't like those

I love my A-10's.

Had a hit with Goughy's 300 Forged irons too.....

... very nice 8)

the only combos I've seen on ebay are the nikes...have to search harder to find others...and that's just too much work!!!

I know the mizuno combo's out, and I would love to get a set of those, but I'm not a big fan on their "un-durability"... :(

hit a 7 iron 690.MB this evening...couple of shots only...

boy...the toe likes to sit up!!!
this club must be like 3-4 degrees too upright for me, and for the bloke who bought it!!! :?

first hit was a shocker (off the mats), second one was a beaut...nice high straight shot...and the feel...awesome...like nothing...

the search continues...but at this stage, the ftx looks a front runner... 8)

Mizuno MP-33's can't be beat, really forgiving for a blade, super soft feel and you could probably snag a set for under $1000 from the US. 8)

I'd seen some mp-30/mp-33 combo sets on bsg for like $500US. They would be sweet. Just dry them off so they don't rust or anything.

this combo is available in singa....but is over 1600bucks SGD...which is about under 1500 aussie...
not sure whether the US combos are mix and match, but these are from the factory (any difference)...
I did see a MP30/MP37 combo on ebay last night tho...

saw an ad in the paper (for singapore), nike pro combo blades steel shaft for SGD699.00 - that's gotta be a decent price?!?!?

the MP combos were well over 1600 for the DG and 1700 for the NS... :(
