The hardest part is having someone fondle your crown jewels rather than attacking them with a knife.

Mine was painless, just some psychological sensitivity for a few months, particularily with little kids around who think is funny to jump on daddy while he was reclining on the couch.

If they swell up you will die from pain, so dont skimp on icing them 24/7 for at least 2 days and wear jocks 2 sizes too small for about 3-4 days and you will be fine.

Sure you can go out and play golf the next day - but you will pay for it big time.

One of the most uncomfortable parts was the dry shave on the nads the doc gave me.

I had a local and before the anesthetic, he shaved me and it stung like a bastard.

Come to think of it the injection in either side of the Scro wasn't awesome either.

But the whole thing only took 20 mins. 16 times at cleaning the pipes and test again.

GET A GENERAL ANISTHETIC! Stress free and easy, why anyone would choose to have this done under local is beyond me!

1: Find a urologist who does it. They are specialists with "the gear" and will do a great job. Dunno about you, but the idea of a general surgeon doing an appendix and then rocking in and saying "OK, what next, nuts, Hmm how does that go again?"
2: Get a general. I was given the option and said the the surgeon "I know this is elective, but if I see you come at my nuts with a knife, I'll kill you". His reply "good choice"

I already got a referral from the GP for a urologist a few weeks ago. The GP said that although there was another GP within the practice that does the snip, he personally wanted the general.

I'll get done when the running season is over or if I'm told to give it a break. ;)
