Just how hardcore can they be? Well check out this year's champion Golf Nut - Bob Fagan (http://www.golfnuts.com/nutofyear.asp?year=2003).

This guy plays 5 rounds a day regularly. Walking. At different courses. I'd need to stay in the car between shots to manage that. He's almost playing polo without a horse. 20 courses in 7 days.

The man is freak. And I can see why he is single.

And I am ashamed to say that I regularly flop on the couch after 18 holes of golf (on foot) and complain that I am too tired to cook dinner.... Matt would never get a home cooked meal again if I played that much golf.... :roll:

The best I have managed so far has been 39 holes in one day. How he manages to play 90 holes in one day is beyond me. He must powerwalk, have a fast swing tempo, and not rake the bunkers or read his putts.
