Just wondered if anyone new of any good golf shops or pro shops in Brissy for secondhand gear? Golfworks used to be ok, but not any more. Does Nudgee GC still have some gear? Does anyone that plays there know what gear they have in the Pro Shop?

Also keen to get a close look at the J36 PC's and Mac m685's. I have seen some for sale but would like to check them out first.

Thanks.

I have found that the absolute best place is here (http://www.ozgolf.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13).

Havent really seen any places around gold coast, most shops in the Golf st in Bundall, have the usual bargain bin, but 2nd hand gear seems to be relagated to the likes of Ebay now.

Golfworks at the Gabba was the only 'shop' I knew of that had decent 2nd hand stuff. So they don't have much any more??

They still have some stuff, but not as much, and since drummond took over it's more expensive. And I would guess they are less likely to do as good a deal.

They still pay ok on trades, so I guess they are looking to build up the second hand stuff.

Looks bad for secondhand gear in brisbane :-(

What about logan river driving range, jaybam says they have good demo nights?

Anyone been to Golfworld or House of Golf Virginia lately?

It's been like 8 months since I was in either of those virginia stores, and it was pretty much walk in walk out! And considering my only stores are small pro shops or a golfworld, they must have been ordinary!

The demo nights are good at Bogan river. But that is new stuff, not second hand gear.
